About Chelsea Gossett and the Count Me Healthy Team

Chelsea Charles Gossett got the idea for the Count Me Healthy line while studying at Oakland University. Her spare time consisted of designing jewelry and working out (to prevent the college
15). One day, while toiling on the elliptical, she read a magazine article about making health goals stick by reinforcing them in a journal. Problem was, journals were bulky and whatever you were tracking needed to be recorded immediately...so impractical. She wanted to create health jewelry one could wear with almost anything. Count Me Healthy offered "pretty practicality.” Her initial prototype helped her keep the pounds off by counting sugar. Not only did the bracelet serve as a way to track her snack attacks, it also acted as a visible reminder not to go overboard and binge. She then went on to keep track of her daily glasses of water, golf strokes, vitamins and more. Her friends and family began to ask for the bracelets and the demand took on a life of its own.
Count Me Healthy has been granted two U.S. patents and has been featured on both national and international news, including The Today Show, Shape magazine, Elle, Women’s Day, and Teen Vogue. Her goal is for "health jewelry” to become a recognized category in the health and beauty world.
